PIANO PATTER explores a
multi-faceted approach to all kinds of music, developing skills that enhance
academic abilities and self esteem. Integrating
sound, color, and form, students will acquire familiarity with the keyboard and
actually begin note reading, thus reading music before English in many cases.
The PIANO PATTER program utilizes a wide range of musical styles, including
jazz, classical, traditional, pop, new age, etc.
At this early stage of
life, there are no “performance” inhibitions, and improvisational thinking,
one of life’s most important skills, is in full swing. This form of creative
intellectual exercise is encouraged by a myriad of activities.
